BDK Velvet Tonka Eau de Parfum is a unisex oriental perfume. Tonka bean is often used in perfumery, but very rarely alone. It is a deep raw material, full of contrasts, which at times recalls vanilla with its leathery notes; at times it recalls the sweetness of almonds, or the facets of chocolate. Velvet Tonka by BDK is a tribute to the perfumer's Moroccan origins. It celebrates this region of the world through its flavors and landscapes, a gourmand breath from the Atlas Mountains. This Eau de Parfum is built around a trio of Tonka bean, almond and orange blossom on an amber background. The woody-veiled accord, built around Amyris Wood, is expressed through a honey and vanilla note, sweet, rich with a romantic powdery accent.
