In perfumery, as in every artistic genre, possible formulas are sketched, conceived, tasted, discarded or refined; and while some fragrances mature directly from the idea to the product, there are others whose formulas are written and patiently dormant between the pages of a notebook, waiting for their moment of glory. Sergio Momo preserves these unique compositions in his Sketchbook, carefully collected over the years, whose charm he could not resist, even if their moment did not seem to have arrived yet.
With the Sketchbook Collection, the artist and creative head of Xerjoff now gives these treasures their big moment. The prelude to his unique collection of previously dormant fragrances is Pagina 33, or P.33 for short, a sumptuous floral-fruity perfume entirely dedicated to Xerjoff, surrounded by a splendid bottle made for Xerjoff by Tuscan artisans. P.33 creates a luxurious play of olfactory, visual and tactile aesthetics.
P.33 by Xerjoff, is a perfume that awakens like an aromatic gem with fascinating lightness, its vital floral sounds becoming tangible fragrant realities together with fruity notes. Citrus bergamot and grapefruit, combined with juicy apple and pink pepper form the luminous opening of the composition, which softly transitions to the cadenced melody of a masterfully composed heart note. Sergio Momo creates it from powdery iris, whose graceful elegance is hovered by a velvety veil of cinnamon together with a fragrant cypress of intense green. Their melange floats above the harmonious base notes of the creation, which are formed by cedarwood, musk and amber and complete the elegantly sparkling picture of P.33.
